Tele-Counselling / Tele-Therapy

Tele-counseling (also known as telehealth therapy) refers to counseling sessions conducted through telephonic or digital platforms. These services are especially valuable for clients who may be unable to attend in-person sessions due to busy schedules or work commitments. Clients who move across cities or countries may also prefer the comfort of continuing therapy with a trusted therapist they have already built rapport with.

Tele-counseling can be particularly beneficial in times of crisis, such as during panic attacks or when experiencing overwhelming thoughts, including suicidal ideation. Evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), are applied to help clients manage these situations effectively.

All sessions are strictly confidential, with measures in place to ensure privacy and safety. Appointments are scheduled in advance through our website or by contacting us directly. Most sessions are structured with specific goals, while clients and the therapist work together on weekly objectives and home-work exercises. If medication or specialized assessments are required, clients are referred to psychiatrists or psychological clinics for further support.

● Older adults (geriatric populations) and individuals with physical disabilities who may find travel difficult.

● Clients who feel hesitant about visiting a psychologist in person, as tele-counseling can ease resistance and reduce stigma around mental health care.
